Tim Wang

what a time
to be alive

the atmosphere strange
like setting sunrise

waking up blind

can any spell disperse
ominous feelings in my mind

I see those red hats
those seams look uncomfortable
maybe that’s the reason
y’all don’t like diversity

are you too scared
are you too ignorant
people are people, too

not rapists or terrorists.

the darkness creeps out
foundations crack and widen

isn’t this place already
a symbol for hope?

isn’t this place
already great?
