Siwon Kim

I wait in the dark, through the night to pierce the light
To bite the finite to make it infinite
I wait in the shade to send everything to the bright
To let the warmth flow through the cold of my intimate

A snap- the sound of bone cracking and a rip of skin
I whisper at a wail and promise a future that will never hurt
To go for a spin
The long night is my answer to a question too curt

My open mouth is full of nails
My closed mouth lacks lethality
My open mouth is full of veils
My closed mouth lacks cruelty

Give it up, I whisper
To pass to let the pain prosper
